The whole space is dedicated to civilian witnesses. Men and women who suffered during the war and have been marked forever. The setting has been positioned in a reserved, intimate area, at the end of the room. The lacerating testimonials which intimately describe the physical and mental violence that accompany the raping of women can be heard and seen on the video.

The music of Malipiero’s I movement “Sinfonia delle campane” creates a tormenting, gloomy and sometimes desperate atmosphere, and accompanies the witnesses of this tragic, devastating experience.
